Job Title: Landscape Architect II

Location: Salt Lake City, UT, St George, UT, Boise, ID or Tempe, AZ (Hybrid Work Schedule 3 days onsite & 2 days remote) 

Start date: Immediately

Duration: Direct hire, Full Time 

Salary: $75-100KYR DOE

This role would be great for someone with substantial experience who enjoys both creative design and project leadership, particularly in a diverse and collaborative setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaboration and Application of Knowledge: You'll apply a deep understanding of landscape architecture principles across various assignments.
• Design and Documentation: Develop schematic designs, construction details, and ensure quality through detailed plans, specifications, and material approvals.
• Visual and Graphic Communication: You will produce or direct the creation of visual aids like plans, boards, and presentations.
• Site Analysis & Consultant Coordination: Carry out site evaluations and manage consultant relationships.
• Construction Administration: Handle documentation during construction and ensure everything meets the project specifications.
• Mentorship: You will mentor junior landscape architects and technicians.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Education & Licensing: Bachelor's in Landscape Architecture, Urban Planning, or a related field. You should be licensed in Landscape Architecture or have AICP accreditation.
• Experience: A significant 15 years of experience with accreditation is required.
• Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of landscape architecture, accessibility, safety codes, and local zoning. Strong proficiency with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and project management tools (MS Office, Bluebeam, NewForma).
• Leadership Skills: Ability to guide and mentor less experienced staff and lead projects from concept to completion.
