HR Employee Relations Specialist

• 1-3 years' experience with human resources with a solid understanding of employee life cycle processes, employee relations, and performance management
• Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable employment laws, guidelines, regulations, and policies for associates across North America.
• Proficiency with the Service Now platform and Oracle HRIS preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint) and HRIS technology
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Capable of managing multiple priorities and thriving in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Complete investigation intake discussions and log cases; partner with Senior investigators on next steps to gather information and obtain pertinent facts of employee relation concerns.
• Triage corrective action requests and collaborate with leaders and HR Business Partners to draft documents for delivery.
• Review termination requests and ensure corrective action processes have been followed and a sound case for separation has been established.
• Process Severance Requests ensuring timely processing and follow up with requesting business units.
• Process records Requests and ah hoc employee relations requests.
• Proactively communicate elevated behavior incidents, patterns, and trends to leadership.
• Draft, proof and finalize employee relations documents ensuring accuracy and compliance with policy/legal requirements.
• Monitor a Service Now caseload and ensure timely completion of all assignments.
