Contract Rate: $35.00 - $45.00per hr / Salary Target: $80K - $90K

Job Description:

We are looking for a talented Business Intelligence Analyst to become part of our forward-thinking team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, improving, and managing data models and insightful reports using Power BI, SQL, and other analytical tools. You will work closely with various teams to support data-driven strategies, optimize reporting processes, and improve Power BI models handling large datasets. The position also includes providing user support, enhancing ETL workflows, maintaining data documentation, and conducting ad-hoc analyses.

Required Skills:

• Over 5 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field.
• Strong SQL expertise, including advanced functions like window functions and CTEs, with a focus on query optimization.
• In-depth experience with Power BI, especially in DAX, data modeling, and building reports.
• Proficiency in Python or R for conducting complex data analyses.
• Solid understanding of data visualization standards and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with ETL processes and data warehousing solutions.
• Knowledge of version control tools, such as Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and exceptional attention to detail.

• Experience leading or mentoring team members.
• Exposure to cloud services and data integration platforms.
• Background in banking or financial services is advantageous.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
