- Design and implement data lakes that support large-scale, structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data integration for advanced analytics and machine learning applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Data Engineers, Analysts, and Business Leaders, to create data models and ensure alignment with business goals and data consumption needs.
- Provide expertise in Oracle technologies, particularly Oracle Exadata, to optimize performance and ensure the efficient handling of large, complex data workloads.
- Provide thought leadership in data architecture strategy, influencing key decisions around platform choices and data solutions.
Required Skills:

- Expertise in data lakes, data management best practices, and the integration of big data solutions.
- Strong experience with cloud-agnostic architecture strategies, with proficiency in AWS and Oracle platforms.
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle technologies, particularly Oracle Exadata, including architecture, performance tuning, and management.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing cloud-based data solutions, including data warehousing, ETL/ELT pipelines, and real-time data processing.
- Strong knowledge of data security, compliance standards (GDPR, CCPA), and regulatory frameworks that impact data management.
- Hands-on experience with data modeling and the design of flexible, scalable, and high-performance data models.
Bonus/Soft Skills:
- Experience working with distributed computing environments and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
- Strong understanding of data governance practices and how to implement governance frameworks in complex data environments.
- Familiarity with AI/ML use cases in the data ecosystem and their integration into the data architecture.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong leadership capabilities, with experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving data transformation initiatives.
- Oracle Certified Architect or similar Oracle certifications.
- Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
- Certifications in data architecture, big data, or data engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field (Master's preferred).
