Sr. Software Engineer

Location: Remote, can work remote anywhere in the lower 48 states. Cannot work outside the continental US.

Summary:

Our client, a large financial regulator, is looking for a Sr. Software Engineer to assist with the development of a new system used to regulate mortgage licensing. Specifically, the Software Engineer will contribute to both front and back-end development of an IAM platform that will integrate to multiple systems within a serverless architecture. The Software engineer will help lead junior teammates, assist with design and development of new systems, and solve complex issues to move from development to production.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, preferably within computer science
• 8+ years of experience
• Must have solid understanding of core Java and J2EE (executors, collections, threading, GC etc)
• Hands-on experience designing, developing, and implementing applications using Java and NodeJS/Typescript
• Must have experience in Spring Framework (Boot, Web, Core, Rest, Data etc)
• Experience with developing enterprise quality solution in an iterative or Agile environment.
• Must be fluent in REST API development
• Must know how to process JSON/XML data
• Must know relational database modeling and SQL query against any RDBMS system (Oracle/MySQL/Postgres)
• Knowledge or experience with NO SQL DB (Document DB/ DynamoDB)
• Experience with AWS cloud technologies

• Federation protocols (SAML/OIDC/OAuth) knowledge
