Job Description: Sr. Databricks Cloud Architect
The Senior Architect specializing in Databricks will lead the organization's data engineering and analytics initiatives, focusing on AI/ML, big data, and cloud technologies. This role requires acting as a technical consultant, working with development teams to drive data-driven outcomes, and establishing architectural frameworks to enhance value. The architect will address significant challenges in big data and promote team growth through best practices while building through warehouse layer.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the architecture and deployment of workloads on the Databricks Lakehouse.
- Serve as the main contact for technical issues.
- Working with a 5-to-6-person team
- Collaborate to ensure timely project completion.
- Implement new features and upgrades in Databricks.
- Provide updates on project status and risk management.
- Develop a serverless platform for big data and machine learning.
- Optimize workload performance and create multi-language notebooks.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years as an Architect in Data and AI.
- Familiarity with latest releases in Databricks, Medallion architecture, and Azure.
- Proficient in big data technologies, Python, and SQL.
- Experience in API injection
- Knowledge of Databricks security measures.
- Databricks Certification and expertise in Big Data Engineering or Data Warehousing.
