Title: Business Intelligence Associate
Location: Iselin, NJ
Duration: 12+ month with a possible extension

Position Overview
The Business Intelligence Associate is primarily responsible for data integration and creation of business intelligence dashboards/reports. The individual will analyze, design and code queries, reports, data extracts and database loads. He/she is also responsible for identifying new technologies and solution approaches that improve accuracy, time-to-market and efficiency for business users.
Responsibilities 30% Working with business lines to elicit and document business requirements for new data content and it's use, dashboards, bespoke reports and ad hoc queries. 30% Creating robust, scalable data processing solutions (ETL). 20% Creating impactful visualizations and reports. 10% Work with users, application support and/or team members in doing data analysis and data discovery for requests. 10% Provide production support assistance for ensuring that scheduled reports (daily, monthly) are properly generated. Troubleshoot errors and faults, re-running reports as appropriate. Actively monitor the performance of the end-to-end MIS reporting environment, taking corrective action as appropriate. Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, engineering or other technical domains
  • 7+ years in a hands-on dashboard and report development within financial industry in SQL & SSRS
  • Advanced SQL development knowledge using MS SQL Server
  • Advanced understanding of indexing and query optimization
  • Exposure to Qlik Sense (Tableau or Power BI) is highly desirable
  • Ability to create ETL processes (SSIS preferred)
  • Knowledge of data modeling
  • Exposure to Salesforce dashboards/reporting
  • Background in web software development (C# .NET, MVC preferred)
  • Ability to help users in defining detailed requirement for delivery
  • Ability to gain the confidence of both team members and internal customers
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and how to formulate questions and clarify requirements
  • Able to handle stressful situations with poise and confidence
  • Comfortable self managing assigned work, ensuring that priority tasks are handled appropriately
  • Exposure to Machine Learning/AI
  • Knowledge of VBA
