Controls Engineer

Direct Hire

Ogden, Utah area 

Salary Target $80,000 - $100,000KYR DOE 

Job Summary:

Company is needing someone to join their efforts building new products to control the systems for large power distribution systems of aircraft. Work with the electrical and mechanical design teams to build prototypes and help test new controls systems. Work within customer design specifications. Will then help program those systems and implement them within larger company products, and occasional travel to client sites to setup and install. Customers occasionally have questions after these systems have been installed, so must be available to respond to phone calls, texts, emails, and other communications.

Will spend the first 6 months working onsite at their facilities to learn their industry and processes, then may be able to start working remote afterwards.

Required Skills / Experience:

  • 5+ years Electrical Control Systems experience
    • Design, Prototype, and Build experience
    • Manufacturing or Product Production environment
  • Programming experience with PLC's and/or PC Firmware, and HMI
  • Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio programming for C++ or C#
  • Bachelors Degree Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Math or similar
