Job Description

Job Title: Controls Programmer
Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Pay rate: $32-45/hr DOE
Duration: Contract-to-direct hire, long-term

Job Responsibilities:
Design and Commissioning of small, medium and large integrated process control systems.
Undertake conceptual and detailed engineering in support of the products and equipment being supplied to end users.
Execute work cost effectively in accordance with the relevant technical documentation, procedures and in accordance with statutory & safety regulations.
Investigate equipment failures and develop failure analysis reports on automation equipment.

Job Requirements:
Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in Electrical or Controls Engineering or equivalent experience and/or training.
5-10 years experience in programming for PLC's, DCS, and HMIs for commissioning projects.
Allen Bradley systems software experience required.
Possess experience with industrial network systems and field buses.
To be computer literate in order to make use of the computer aided design tools available.
Ability to travel during the week for regional and nationally located projects.
