Customer Care Support (Networking Devices)
Sandy, UT
6 Month Contract-to-Hire
Contract Rate: $14.00 per hour

Job Description:
This role is working within a team of about 6 person customer care group. Primarily inbound calls for a company in the telecommunications industry. This is a very friendly external customer interfacing role. Assume that the customer may be somewhat technically inclined, and you are about the same level you are. Your that warm fuzzy person they talk to when they call the company and their systems are not working. Engage the customer via phone, email, and live chat. When the technical troubleshooting gets complicated, you then escalate to the tech support 1 team.

They key to this role is more about your engaging and natural ability / thinking process with the customer to walk through the basics of troubleshooting, moreso than your technical expertise (they can teach you the latter).

Required Skills:

  • Some basic technical troubleshooting experience with computers and network devices
  • 3+ years Call Center experience, and experience with managing trouble ticket systems
  • Strong phone customer supporting and handling experience - keeping the customer positive and steering the conversation in the direction you need it to go
  • Some good basic experience with MS Office Suite
  • Experience with CRM tools or navigation
  • Ability to type 45 words per minute
