Job Description

Job Title: Electrical CAD Designer
Location: Sandy, UT
Duration: Contract, 2-3+ months
Pay range: $25-$35/hr DOE

Job Responsibilities:
Prepare engineering documents and drawings following specifications, codes and regulations.
Typical drawings and documents include: Equipment Specifications, Single line diagrams, Grounding, Area Classification, equipment & Instrument Layouts, Conduit & Tray Layouts, Conduit & Cable Schedules, Panel Schedules, Heat Trace, Lighting Calculation, Load Calculation, Voltage Drop Calculation.


Job Requirements:
Graduate of a two-year technical or college program in the relevant discipline.
Candidates must have 3+ years of AutoCAD experience with Electrical design.
3+ years of relevant mining industry experience, preferably with underground mining and infrastructure design experience is preferred.
Experience in 3D equipment layout would be a plus.
Understanding of applicable Mining and Safety Acts, Regulations, and Codes would be an asset.
