Job Description

Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Duration: Contract, 3 months+ possible long term
Pay Rate: $50-65/hr W2 DOE
 
Job Responsibilities:
Provides electrical engineering support and development of project design concepts and criteria as it relates to product and plant electrical engineering.
Provides support on project staffing and project budget control.
Provide engineering support and other miscellaneous task in support of the project Lead Engineer
Participates in the development of project design concepts and criteria.
Analyzes complex design problems requiring the development of new or improved techniques or procedures.
Consults with construction personnel concerning design constructability as it relates to field conditions, sequencing, and scheduling of construction activities.
Monitors project progress for technical accuracy.
Represents respective projects at meetings and conferences.
Prepares home office discipline estimates for projects of significant size or complexity.
Plans, organizes and supervises design engineering activities.
Ability to perform in a technical lead position with multiple technical and product offices.
 
Occasional travel (up to 20% of time), which may include long flights and working in foreign locations.
When traveling, the employee may occasionally be exposed to moving mechanical moving equipment, outside weather conditions, and industrial plant environment.
 
Job Requirements:
Associates Degree in Engineering Technology and Computer Aided Design or equivalent from a two-year college.
5-10 years of industrial experience.
Minerals Processing Equipment Electrical Design Expertise
Minerals Processing Manufacturing Facilities Electrical Engineering Design Expertise
Product & Plant Control Systems design knowledge.
Knowledge of North American, South American, and European electrical / control system engineering / design standards.
Broad technical knowledge of electrical items.
Ability to work independent of continual direct supervision
