Title: Electrical & Instrumentation Lead

Salary: $110-125KYR DOE

Job Summary:
The discipline manager ensures that their department provides all services necessary to achieve project goals and accomplish company objectives.
The primary responsibility of the discipline manager is to provide their staff with the appropriate level of supervision, technical assistance, professional guidance to allow the personnel within their group to develop and succeed.
This individual may be a project manager, discipline engineer, or a technical expert and will also take on an appropriate share of the technical work within their group.

Job Responsibilities:
Able to manage an engineering and design team, including themselves, to perform project support activities.
Assist with the development of the project proposals (scope, schedule, specifications, estimates, and Client availability).
Serves as a discipline engineer or project manager on specific projects as assigned.
Provide technical assistance and guidance to personnel within the group to ensure that design work meets specifications and is of high quality.
Communicate with clients to understand design philosophy in order to maximize quality and client satisfaction.
Coordinate with other discipline mangers to develop consistent design philosophies and procedures.
Evaluate the performance of all individuals within their discipline group and develop and execute performance improvement plans and recognize good performance.
Develop and maintain resources (staff, consultants, subcontractors, and temporary labor) to achieve project objectives.
Create and maintain customer relationships.
Travel to customer sites as required.

Job Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, project management, construction management, or a Bachelor's degree in another field and documented experience in an engineering design environment.
PE License or PMP Certification is a plus.
At least 10 years of experience in engineering and design.
Experience in construction, project management, or industrial facility operations.
Highly effective oral and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
The position is 80% hands on E&I Engineering and 20% lead, supervisory and training.
Sound proficiency in MS Office.
