Pay range: $19-$23/hr.
Job Summary:
The Health & Safety Coordinator / Admin Assistant / Document Control will ensure workplace practices follow safety standards and government regulations.
Will be responsible for maintaining protective equipment, training and educating employees about workplace safety, designing and implementing workplace processes, and maintaining records and documentation.
Preparing and issuing professional documents to clients, archiving, etc.
Job Responsibilities:
Become familiar with company's H&S policies/programs/resources
Become familiar with OSHA/MSHA guidelines
Assist with medical surveillance program – coordinating schedule
Assist supervisors in completion of new hire orientation training and checklist. Upload training documentation into tracker.
Responsible for our document control processes, in and out professional documents and client delivery.
Assist with quarterly reports and submit with corresponding documentation, if needed.
Assist with incident reporting, ensuring incidents are reported immediately and accurately
Maintain office H&S communications processes
Maintain PPE equipment
Develop emergency procedures for office
Instruct all employees in emergency procedures
Create evacuation plan
Act as lead during building fire drills
Tracking/maintaining office equipment list
Office supplies
Prepare/maintain office resumes
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
2+ years of H&S and Document control experience preferred
Proficient in MS Office
Excellent communication and advisory skills
Must be able work both independently without continual oversight and direction, as well as in a team environment
