Helpdesk Technician

Up to $55k year
Successful candidate will be responsible for providing an excellent end-user experience that exceeds expectations for our staff while providing IT support. The HD Tech works as part of the Helpdesk Team to support hardware, applications, and services that enable the staff to reach their goals. The HD Tech interacts directly with our staff, customers, partners, and vendors using the best problem-solving methodologies and communication skills. The HD Tech solves issues while documenting detailed relevant notes, and escalating issues as appropriate. Act in a manner consistent with the company's values. Will be first line of end-user support. Deploying, installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining a variety of products and devices. Submitting relevant detailed notes documenting time for all work performed throughout the day. Accurate and updated tracking of assets. Communicate effectively internally and externally to keep stakeholders informed regarding progress, impending changes, outages, agreed upon scheduled maintenance windows, or anything else impacting the end user experience. Essential Worker works primarily on-site

Required Skills:
  • College Diploma or University Degree in Computer Science, or 3 years of equivalent work experience.
  • 2 - 3 years' experience working in IT with most recent experience at a junior level or higher in an environment supporting more than 200 users.
  • Helpdesk / ServiceDesk Ticketing systems (ConnectWise Manage, ServiceDeskPlus, Zendesk).
  • Deploy, install, troubleshoot, and maintain networks running on multiple platforms. Including the following technologies: Microsoft Technologies: End User - MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), OneDrive, Teams, RDP, Infrastructure - AD DS, DHCP, DNS, SCCM, File and Print, GPO, O365, and Backup, Powershell and Batch scripting, AutoDesk, Revu Bluebeam, Video Conferencing: Zoom, Teams, Webex, BlueJeans, File Sharing Services: DropBox, OneDrive, Box, Networking Fundamentals, Cisco VPN clients, Working Knowledge of the OSI Model, Anti-Virus / Anti-Malware software, Client, Dell, Lenovo, Apple, Microsoft: desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and tablets, Remote Management (RMM and MDM) - Patch Management (SCCM, Dameware, ConnectWise Automate, Kaseya, InTune, DEP, MobileIron), Conference Room Audio Visual Equipment
  • Strong troubleshooting methodology and technical aptitude.
