Job Description

ConsultNet is actively recruiting for an HRIS Analyst. The Human Resources Data Analyst supports the business and departmental needs by streamlining and improving reporting and data integration for all people-related programs. The Analyst serves as a technical point of contact for Human Resources and assists the HR team with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing, analyzing data flows, interpreting complex data and delivering concise and visually appealing reports. The HR Data Analyst also supports upgrades, patches, testing and other technical projects as assigned.

This individual must love to problem solve, posess strong analytical skills, excel in data manipulation and have a deep knowledge of HR systems. Must have working knowledge of HR, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing organization. Incumbent must enjoy working with people and supporting a highly interactive team environment.

Responsibilities:
  • System maintenance (5% of time): Assist in the review, testing and implementation of HRIS system upgrades, interfaces and modules. Maintain HRIS system tables and file feeds. Document processes, upgrades and communicate new HRIS functionalities to the HR team.
  • Projects/process improvement (25% of time): Recommend process improvements and work closely with Director, HRIS vendor and other stakeholders during the implementation of new modules to support our HR Function (e.g. Performance, Training and Compensation Management) and to develop processes to automate data import and monitor data integration between systems.Use some project management skills in managing projects.
  • Production support (40% of time): Provide support for HRIS, including researching and resolving HRIS problems, unexpected results or process flaws; entering personnel changes into the HRIS system, performing scheduled activities during Open Enrollment, performance and merit cycle. Developing and maintaining employment e-file structure – ensuring all files are accurate and up-to date.Research and recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet HR requirements. Liaison with third parties and other stakeholders (e.g., business partners, payroll, accounting, billing).
  • Reports/queries (25% of time): Write, maintain, support and distribute a variety of reports or queries using appropriate reporting tools, such as attrition reports, organizational charts, OT reports, compensation analytics. Assist in development of standard reports for ongoing HR needs. Help maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data on a monthly basis. Responsible for compiling, analyzing data and producing final reports for filing with the State and Federal agencies, such as EEOC, OFCCP, PPACA, OSHA, etc. and supporting other departments during financial audits or insurance renewals.
  • Individual and Team development (5% of time): Maintain awareness of current trends in HRIS through online classes and resources provided by HRIS system. Participate in user group meetings/conferences. Train other team members on basic reporting, HRIS functionalities and data analytics.
  • Miscellaneous functions - Coordination of company events, support Director with special projects, HR administrtion
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, PHR a plus
  • 2+ years of HRIS administration, Payroll Systems, Applicant Tracking Systems experience (iCIMS); UltiPro experience a plus.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft products, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and advanced Excel skills for large dataset manipulation and delivery
  • Proven experience and proficiency in data analysis, quantitative and qualitative analytics, and business reporting
  • Proven experience in Writing reports and queries, using IBM Cognos or similar query/reporting system
  • Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail: able to use logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternate solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
  • Effective time management capability; ability to effectively develop goals and plans to prioritize, organize work under pressure, meet deadlines and accomplish goals
