Job Description

Title: Instructional Designer - Sales
Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Duration: Direct hire, full time 
Salary: $75-80KYR DOE
Travel:  Up to 25%
Job Summary:
The Instructional Designer will develop, create, adapt, and design training curricula and tools for the U.S. Sales teams for all brands, and across multiple platforms, using best practices and techniques in adult learning.
Work with the Sales Team to increase product, company and market knowledge, and instill confidence and new skills in presenting information to customers from all relevant market segments.
Job Responsibilities:
Drive curriculum development process for Training School modules and materials
Prepare presentations by product lines, segments, or for strategic sales meeting presentation on VIP projects / key account meetings.
Own, manage and update the Digideck platform presentations for brands, products and segments.
Create e-learning modules as required for each brand.
Design and develop training in a variety of delivery modes including instructor led, self-paced, virtual, blended.
Assist in the preparation of project references, success stories and images for use in the sales process.
Develop high levels of knowledge and expertise in assigned brands and product lines, to provide helpful, timely and relevant information to field sales channels as required.
Build and maintain effective working relationships with sales force.
Gather and organize best practices from Sales teams for use in training curricula and dissemination to Sales team.
Track and update reports on all Sales Training activities and participants.
Create and manipulate graphic images, designs and diagrams as marketing and sales assets for each brand.
Create Continuous Education (CEU) curricula for Sales team to present to architect and designers
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and education. Design, graphic design, marketing or related field preferred.
3+ years of experience designing/developing learning curricula for sales professionals.
3+ years of experience in developing training tools, presentations and communications.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe or other graphic design software.
Knowledge of architectural or flooring industry is a plus.
Experience with Digideck platform a plus.
