IT ANALYST, NYC, DIRECT W. CLIENT
Our Client is seeking an IT Analyst for their NYC location. This position is responsible for all aspects of the IT function. You will manage the day to day activities of the IT function, plan and organize work and the configuration reports, job control languages, program files and data files on the computer system(s) to ensure maximum operating efficiency.
This role will monitor the performance of the software and maintain a log book of performance report. Install and test corporate approved program changes to the hotel computer system(s). You will understand all standard and customized features and functions of the hotel front office systems, point of sale systems, and other systems, including but not limited to system security, system reports, manager functions, system utilities, and user functions. Control the key/lock for computer room and ensure that the computer room fire protection, temperature control, and power requirements meet the company security specification as described in the company security system and control all user ID's, passwords, and security parameters. You will establish documents, test, and communicate appropriate emergency procedures to follow when the hotel computer system(s) are inoperable. You will perform other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities include Supporting PC hardware components, desktop operating system software, and application software MS Office 2010/2016, Client and Meraki Cisco switches, Opera PMS and Symphony POS, Active Directory etc. - Providing end user support in various levels of technical and non-technical staff - In addition, MDP IT coordinator will assist with ensuring proper documentation is in place such updating HealthCheck documentation for the property along with any inventory report required. - You may be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
Qualifications: - Minimum of three years' experience in coordination and implementation of computer and peripheral systems, to include planning, specifications development, purchasing, installation, training, trouble shooting, and repair. - Experience with Windows Servers and Windows workstations in a Windows domain; - Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment, both as a team leader and a collaborator; - Advanced computer hardware and software knowledge and skills; - Experience Supervising Staff and External Contractors - Strong Customer Service Orientation - Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail Physical Requirements: Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, hand and power tools, and to handle other computer components
