Key Job Duties:
  • Must maintain a high level of customer service at all times with all company employees
  • Responsible for the overall maintenance, updates, and changes to the POS System, inclusive of Micros POS, database and configuration made through the Micros Enterprise Management System
  • Manage POS change requests working directly with Marketing and Operations leadership
  • Source, test and implement new version of software
  • Manage and collaborate with internal customers and external vendors alike, to build effective relationships
  • Assist customers and fellow employees with troubleshooting support regarding POS and other technology systems
  • Offer support for helpdesk ticket system
  • Help build, support, and optimize best practices for IT Operations
  • Troubleshoot devices and systems, hardware, and software
  • Document all system performance issues
  • Follow maintenance protocols to ensure systems are secure and ready for users
  • Perform all other duties as assigned or required

Qualifications:
  • BS in Computer Science or similar, associated certifications
  • 5+ years with technical systems (Micros & Bypass POS)
  • 3+ years experience with MICROS POS systems and experience with PCI DSS solutions
  • Familiarity with Digium phone systems
  • Strong QA knowledge
  • Must be analytical and possess problem solving
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with good listening skills
The IT Help Desk Support person is responsible for the development and maintenance of store technology along with technical support at the Corporate level.
