IT Project Manager
Beverly Hills, CA
Contract to Hire
Pay:  up to $55/HR, DOE

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manages one or more concurrent IT projects from beginning to end. The projects may include development, deployment, infrastructure with complexity around technology, cross-functional dependencies, and multiple stakeholders across various business units.        
  • Ensures that projects are completed on time and meet all essential business and system requirements. Conducts all project management tasks to ensure schedule, cost, and quality goals.       
  • Ensures project scope and requirements are well documented and managed properly throughout the delivery cycle of the project.     
  • Develops project plans, schedule and work breakdown structure for projects •       
  • Communicates project status, progress on deliverables, and risks/issues to stakeholders and CIO in a timely manner •        
  • Discusses and prioritizes project issues with the project team, and provides help/support to the project team as required.      
  • Works with developers and contractors to ensure appropriate project staffing and resource plan.        
  • Collaborates with matrixed teams including developers, technical leads, and business users to ensure timely delivery of project.        
  • Adheres to change management processes during the project lifecycle.   
  • May manage other project managers or business analysts.


Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in technical discipline preferred or equivalent experience required.    
  • Minimum three years in a business environment.       
  • Experience in managing projects utilizing agile software.    
  • Experience in measuring project success factors with respect to cost, schedule and quality, meeting     requirements, product quality, test quality, and code quality.      
  • Practical experience with use case and test case development.       
  •  Strong experience interacting with business users and managing expectations.
