Job Description

Job Title:  Mechanical Engineer
Location:  Ogden, UT
Duration: Direct hire, full time 
Salary range: $65-90KYR DOE 
 
Job Responsibilities:
Mechanical Engineer who will be working closely with architects, engineers, designers, product representatives and clients, (contractors) on various projects regarding design of mechanical systems including water, glycol, steam and condensate and chemicals, HVAC and plumbing as well as load calculations and code compliance review. 
Possess familiarity with a variety of the field's concepts, codes, practices, procedures and established guidelines.  
Responsibilities will also include meeting attendance, site work and assurance that projects are in accordance with current Building Code and American Society of Heating Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineering Standards (ASHRAE).  
This position is primarily responsible for coordinating, implementing, executing, controlling and completing projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals by performing core duties and responsibilities. 
Leads the planning and implementation of projects, facilitates the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables.
Coordinates with project staff and provides direction and support to the drafting team.
Provides client with cost estimates, manages project budget and schedules project timelines.
 
Job Requirements:
B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.
Professional Engineering License in at least one jurisdiction, transferable to UT is highly preferred, but also will consider working towards PE license.
Experience with HVAC and Plumbing within the Architectural/Engineering, Consulting Field.
Familiar within AutoCAD, Revit/BIM or similar software programs.
Experience within building and facility engineering field is helpful as is familiarity with engineering for building construction and the construction trades.
