Network Administrator
Los Angeles
Contract to Hire
Pay: $19/hr

We are looking for a Network Administrator who will be managing and administering the network operating system and system equipment. The Network Administrator works with all functional IS teams to provide effective support and management of networking facilities, insuring that the network is always up and running and accessible to all associates with sufficient speed and capacity.

Descriptions
• Responsible for ensuring the network is always up and running and accessible to all associates with sufficient speed and capacity.
• Works with all functional IS teams to provide effective support and management of networking facilities.
• Maintains the network operating system by applying the latest patches and service pack, ensuring the network continues to function. Incorporates any new functionality.
• Works on networking-related projects, such as testing the viability of using a host for the data center to provide more servers.
• Supports the Disaster Recovery Project.
• Monitors network traffic across the company to ensure network is operating optimally and address any issues.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree or 3 years of experience in computer technology field required
• Minimum three years of relevant experience
• CCNA and MCITP, VCP or equivalent certifications required.
• Successful completion of annual store training.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Ability to demonstrate and teach Panda's Mission, Values, and Culture
• Thorough knowledge of networking
• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS
• Strong understanding of Windows Active Directory, LDAP, DNS, DHCP
• Understanding of routing protocol (EIGRP, OSPF)
• Thorough knowledge of various switches, routers, and firewall
• Thorough knowledge of Cisco Systems, Bluecoat, Fortinet, etc.
• Thorough knowledge of VMware, VPN routing, and Storage Area Network (SAN)
• Knowledge in managing a multi-domain network
• Strong technical installation skills
• Strong computer/technology skills and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong project and financial management skills
• Strong analytical, leadership, and problem solving skills
• Strong communication (oral and written), listening, presentation, and facilitation skills
• Ability to manage network. system equipment, and networking facilities
• Ability to think strategically and build consensus
• Ability to serve as a role model within the IS department
• Ability to solve complex problems independently
• Ability to perform routine server maintenance or handle network emergencies
• Ability to work positively with other departments and Operations ( "win/win”)
• Ability to embrace change and continuous learning
