Network Engineer
Santa Ana, CA
6+ month contract
Up to $70.00 an hour
Successful candidate is responsible for administering the companies, wide, wireless, Internet, and Intranet networks, telephone and/or Voice Over IP (VoIP) systems, and all related hardware and software programs. Shares in the responsibility for user administration, support and training.
Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
• Must have reliable transportation to drive to retail branches (Santa Barbara to San Diego) if needed.
• Must have a strong Cisco background in routing and switching.
• Must have knowledge in layer 2 switching and layer 3 routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP, and OSPF).
• Must have experience on Palo Alto Networks firewalls.
• Must have extensive experience using Vizio for network diagrams.
• Must be familiar with Cisco Nexus-OS, VRF's, VSS, Cisco Nexus hardware (9K, 7K, 5K, 3K, 2K).
• Working experience with SD-WAN and network segmentation.
• Prefer somebody that has experience with Cisco DNA, but not a requirement.
• This position will require the person to assist in setting up branch network equipment (Router, switch, and firewall).
