Job Description

Job Title: Outside Sales Rep
Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Duration: Direct, full time 
Pay range: $65-100KYR DOE

Job Responsibilities:
Communicate with vendors regarding technical information, quotations, purchasing and expediting
Visit Customers and provide technical Support
Bid Projects to customers along with start-up services when needed.
Assess vendor offerings by analyzing and summarizing competitive information to select both the best technical solutions as well as provide value added options to increase sale opportunities
Ability to learn various manufacturer equipment configuration software in depth, analyze the information and prepare quotations accordingly
Provide technical information and explanations
Find new accounts by answering telephone, and e-mail inquiries, visiting customers, verifying and entering information as needed.
Fill orders by transferring orders to fulfillment; communicating expected delivery dates as needed
Job Requirements:
BS Engineering degree preferred or Equivalent Relevant Experience.
5+ years' experience configuring pumps and pumping systems
Experience with blower systems is preferred but not required
Strong analytical skills
Strong phone presence and experience accepting dozens of calls/emails per day
Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Strong listening and presentation skills
Ability to work in a team environment and individually without constant supervision
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Strong computer skills including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office Suite (Office, Word, Excel etc.)
Knowledge of Prophet 21 or similar software is a plus
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD and/or NanoCAD) is desired
