Our client wants candidates who are eager to learn and grow with them as they work to move their market monitoring applications to modern big data platforms in the cloud where up to 60 billion market events are being processed each day.

If you are a fast learner, have a sharp mathematical and technical mind and are interested in working for one of the biggest data users in the country in a fast-paced, open source environment, our client has an immediate need for a Business Analyst to coordinate changes to computer databases, test, and implement the database applying knowledge of database management systems

An analyst is assigned to one Delivery team within a Program. This individual is responsible for working closely with the Delivery team to refine User Stories, Tasks and Acceptance Criteria. The System Analyst collaborates with the Product Manager and Product Owner to research and validate requirements and make sure that the Delivery team has clarity regarding User Stories and Tasks. The Analyst attends all Scrum ceremonies and is accountable for ensuring that User Stories are ready for Planning.

  • Works with the Product Manager, Product Owner and Scrum Master to continually groom the User Story backlog
  • Supports the Product Owner in writing User Stories and Acceptance Criteria
  • Researches questions on how the functionality is implemented
  • Partners closely with Testers and Developers to ensure User Stories are refined and available for Sprint Planning
  • Communicates Business requirements in technical terms

The person in this role:
Works closely with the Product Manager, Product Owner and Delivery team to understand the intent and value of Features and User Stories. The Analyst is responsible for ensuring the User Stories are refined and ready for Sprint Planning. This individual collaborates with Developers and Testers to create valuable acceptance criteria and, along with the Product Owner, validates that the User Story Acceptance criteria is met.
