Succesful candidate will be responsible for one or more complex projects from concept through implementation with consideration of timeliness, technical specification, quality and cost. This position requires knowledge of engineering design principles and practices in mechanical and system design, refrigeration, heat exchangers, mechanisms and material selection. Engineering functions includes evaporative cooling systems, refrigerant and chilled water-based air-conditioning systems, mechanical and control system knowledge. Will also manage critical product improvement initiatives.

  • Must have knowledge and experience with HVAC systems design and implementation. Experience in the design of products used in the precision HVAC industries which utilize DX or liquid cooling methods.
  • Minumum 5 years of experience in related role.
  • Must have fundamental mechanical engineering knowledge.
  • Experience with LabVIEW controls. Programming in LabVIEW a plus.
  • Understanding in research, prototyping and development of new products.
  • Experience with designing product for manufacturability and serviceability.
  • Demonstrated the Responsibilities of Ownership in product system design.
  • Experience managing the timely execution of new product development
  • Experience compiling and analyzing operational, test, and research data to establish performance standards for newly designed HVAC equipment or product to meet the emerging needs of the marketplace
  • Experience working directly in the layout and assembly of components in new configurations
  • Experience reviewing new product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer requirements, and related specifications and regulations
  • Initiates technical studies, product design, preparation of specifications and technical plans, and product testing
  • Experience analyzing test data and reports to determine if design meets functional and performance specifications
  • Experience providing technical information concerning manufacturing or processing techniques, materials, properties, and process advantages and limitations which affect long range plant and product engineering planning
  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or similar.
