Job Description

Our client, one of the largest Amazon Web Services (AWS) partner for data services, is looking for top talent to join their elite team of technologists to build and contribute to large-scale, innovative projects. Our client wants candidates who are eager to learn and grow with them as they work to move their market monitoring applications to modern big data platforms in the cloud where up to 60 billion market events are being processed each day.
The Product Manager Director is responsible for the product planning and execution of multiple products throughout their lifecycle, including: defining the product vision, building business cases, developing roadmaps, reviewing requirements, and working closely with engineering, business, support, and industry participants to ensure business objectives and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Director's job also includes managing and mentoring other product managers and business analysts.
Essential Job Functions:

  • Manage multiple products, and could manage one or more product managers and analysts to deliver solutions that solve critical business problems and delight end-users.
  • Define product vision and roadmaps, lead business case development, and develop/manage budgets.
  • Work across team boundaries to identify and prioritize new product opportunities.
  • Analyze potential partner relationships for the products within Client or outside.
  • Negotiate cross-functional product dependencies.
  • Developing and implementing a go to market plan, working with all departments to execute.

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • 7-10 years in Product Management, Engineering or Technology.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or other related discipline. Master's degree preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong ability to manage multiple projects
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and proven ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Past experience influencing decisions and building consensus across internal and external partners
  • Knowledge of business, technology and management principles involved in strategic planning, organizational change management
  • Demonstrated technical expertise which resulted in deployment of enterprise quality solutions.

Working Conditions:

  • Work is normally performed in an office environment.  This position requires occasional travel.
