Our client, one of the largest Amazon Web Services (AWS) partner for data services, is looking for a Program Manager to join their elite team of technologists to build and contribute to large-scale, innovative projects.

IT Program Manager
Summary: Our client is seeking a Program Manager to lead development and maintenance of a large industry regulation system used by state and federal agencies, regulated entities, and the general public. The program manager is accountable for ensuring all approved program commitments are delivered within approved timeframes, scope, and budget. The program manager is responsible for leading the team and communicating with external client stakeholders, our client’s business leaders, and various dependent technology groups across our client’s enterprise.
Job Responsibilities:
• Perform strategic planning of product and service offerings and define mid-long range program roadmaps
• Manage scope and schedule, including key business critical milestones and dependencies to ensure successful delivery of external customer commitments
• Manage program issues and risks, assess likelihood and magnitude of impact; determine mitigation strategies; escalate where appropriate
• Work with Finance and others to estimate, manage, and report program budget which includes labor, license, vendor, and other costs; track customer approved budgets, forecasts, and actuals; and resolve variances
• Provide routine updates to various audiences and in a variety of formats and written status reports to both external customer and FINRA senior leaders
• Manage all resources assigned to the program from internal sources and/or from external solution providers
• Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships
• Address customer concerns and feedback in a timely manner
• Foster collaboration to continually improve the efficiency and effectiveness of program services
• Effectively respond to requests for additional services and capabilities
• Education o Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or related field o MBA or other related advanced degree preferred
o Agile certifications (e.g., ACP, CSM, PSM, CSPO, SAFe Agilist) preferred o Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITIL)
• 10+ years project and program management experience driving large, complex projects with multifunction teams
• 5+ years leading programs and projects using Agile methodologies
• Proven ability to lead software development projects and ensure customer objectives, goals, and commitments are met
• Experience engaging and managing external service providers to achieve business goals and objectives and ensure adherence to SLAs
• Strong interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building • Demonstrated ability to be flexible/adaptable in exercising judgment in a changing environment and to manage competing priorities
• Demonstrated ability to acquire in-depth knowledge and understanding of business needs and establish/maintain high level of customer trust and confidence
• Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both business and IT individuals at all levels
• Creative approach to problem solving with the ability to focus on details while maintaining the “big picture” view
