Robotics Engineer
Direct Hire, Full time 
Arlington, Texas
Target Pay $90- $110KYR DOE 

Summary:
Join a team of highly trained and well communicative Robotics, Controls, and Design Engineers. You will be involved with the full lifecycle of design, creation, and implementation of manufacturing automation systems, and robotics within the automated material handling systems industry. Develop applications for Yaskawa and Funac robots. Also be involved within the sales process to design custom robotics systems for customers. Travel required up to 40%. Mostly US and Canada and Latin countries could be possible.

Overview:
Designs, develops, and implements robotic automation solutions for industrial material handling solutions. Works closely with the overall project team to design systems that exceed the project requirements. Uses creativity and innovation to tailor the standard product offering to meet customer needs.
 
Responsibilities:
 Develops application programs for Yaskawa (Motoman) and Fanuc robots
 Develops simulations of robotic applications
 Works with project team to develop the best solution for specific applications
 Works with product design teams to define robotic solutions, programming standards, and best practices
 Provides subject matter expertise to sales, applications, and support throughout the sales process
 Solves quality problems and and takes action to anticipate and avoid issues
 Recommends and directs implementation of improved processes, best practices, tools, and standard designs
 Develops integrated vision-guided robotic applications
 Collaborates with other engineers on end-effector design and integration
 Travels up to 30% - 50%
 
Qualifications:
 Minimum Bachelors degree, in robotics, mechanical or software engineering; Masters degree preferred
 Minimum of 5 years of experience with robotics
 Experience with development of robotic application programs, simulation, integrated vision, and end effector design preferred
 Experience with Teach Pendant programming, MotoSim, Roboguide, or similar software
 Allen Bradley, Schneider, or similar PLC platform experience helpful
