ConsultNet is actively recruiting for Senior Software Analysis and Development expert in support of a widely utilized government business function.  The ideal candidate shall:
  • Update and post web content as necessary, and participate in web design and complex web page project management
  • Provide full lifecycle application development and O&M support following established processes, procedures, and standards
  • Collaborate with analysts and developers, using contemporary analytical tools and methods, to support federal client in defining requirements and developing / implementing software solutions to format and publish mission-critical information and policy to non-classified and classified websites
  • Provide quality assurance/ verification to ensure the archiving, review, approval, and publishing of materials meets all mandatory government standards and office guidelines
  • Establish, coordinate, and implement business requirements for existing and new workflow applications at the client site.
Job Responsibilities and/or Success Factors:
  • Provide full lifecycle application development and O&M support following established processes, procedures, and standards
  • Create customized .Net Web applications, maintain multiple N-Tier Web-based applications, provide active development and O&M support
  • Provide on-going systems/ applications management, end user support, innovation, and planning/ governance services in support of the organization’s mission and projects
  • Provide systems analysis support to gather and document requirements for new web-based applications
  • Perform all duties on-time and in a detail-oriented fashion
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Follow both government mandatory and business policies
  • Effective communication between business users, developers, and federal government management teams
  • Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support
  • Effective maintenance of all publication web-site used by the client
  • Understand the importance of following up and through to closure of all issues.
Required skills and experience include:
  • 4 Years of demonstrated experience creating .NET applications; SharePoint Online/ Office 365, Visual Studio, C#, HTML, XML, XLST, CSS JavaScript, JQuery, TSQL, SQL Server, Team Foundation Server (TFS).
  • Ability to code, unit test, and debug updates to existing modules and new modules, analyze solutions to system performance and provide production support by assisting users with questions.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline.  A Master's Degree will count towards two (2) years of general experience.
  • Active SECRET Clearance required
