Job Description:
Seeking a Sr. CyberSecurity Engineer who can collaborate with development teams, business teams, and cross-functional technology. As a Sr. CyberSecurity Engineer you should have experience in AWS security functions, Infrastructure as Code, and Developer Security Operations (DevSecOps). This team is a highly-technical, metrics driven team, with a consistent focus on process optimization and automation to improve effectiveness. You must be able to report, quantify stats, trends, and metrics to quantify risk and results. 

Detailed Responsibilities:
  • Performing AWS security architecture reviews during product sprints and deployments.
  • Working with development teams to identify and remediate vulnerabilities.
  • Reviewing and approving Security Group, IAM, and S3 Bucket Policy exceptions.
  • AWS routing changes, AWS database security, application design modifications, and API security.
  • Ensuring that appropriate logging is in place for all AWS environments.
  • Provide support to application teams on how to apply certificates appropriately, review certificate renewals and follow-ups, and manage the AWS Certificate Manager environment.
  • Implementing security enhancements for the GitHub environment.

Must Have:
  • Bachelor's Degree or related AWS Cybersecurity Experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of working with AWS security functions – Security Groups, IAM Roles, KMS, VPC, S3 Security, EC2 Security, RDS encryption and security, AWS Logging, AMI security.
  • Knowledge of managing and applying private and public certificates, code signing certificates, Amazon Cert Manager (ACM), and managing PKI environments.
  • Awareness or knowledge of one or more automation scripting languages, such as: Puppet, Ansible, PowerShell.
  • AWS Certified Security Specialty certification is highly recommended.
  • Experience working with a Vulnerability Management Tool, such as Nexpose or Nessus.
  • Experience working with Terraform is required.
  • Understanding of Infrastructure as Code environments and deployments.
  • Understanding of ticketing systems and their integrations, such as ServiceNow and/or Jira.
  • Basic understanding of forensics, log investigations, and how security incidents work.
  • Experience working with Turbot HQ is preferred but not required.
  • Docker container security is highly recommended.
  • Strong analytical skills and communication skills.
