Job Description:
Our client is a leader in cyber and telephone surveys. They are looking for Sr Network Engineer that can support ongoing network functions, maintenance and upgrades.
Required Skills:
- Expert knowledge of Cisco products, their functionality, configuration and best practices
- Responsible for all corporate network Communications & Transport mechanisms via LAN, WAN, MAN, MPLS, & Wireless, & future next-generation network technologies for internal facing and client facing systems.
- Participates in strategic planning of all corporate data network services.
- Participates continuous improvement of service engineering, delivery, and operational practices.
- +7 years' experience in an enterprise network operations team.
- Expert experience in Network documentation using Visio or Lucidcharts
- Network and/or IT certification (CCNA, CCNP, CCDP) or equivalent is a plus
- Expert knowledge of firewalls, wireless devices, routing principals, and network architecture.
- Experience deploying and supporting Voice over IP (VoIP) and SIP in multiple
- Experience deploying and supporting a global MPLS environment
- Experience in Deployment of QoS to support Collaboration applications
- Experience in network monitoring technologies (SolarWinds, NetBrain, or CATTools)
- Understanding of Cisco ASA and Palo Alto Firewalls, SSL VPN, Syslog and SD WAN using SilverPeak Technologies
- Experience with Meraki wireless and remote access using Pulse Secure and Palo Alto's Global Protect
- Experience provisioning and troubleshooting circuits (Ethernet, SIP, DS3, PRI)
- Working Knowledge of the following: Cisco Hardware, Encryption, Juniper MAGSSL VPN, Palo Alto Firewalls, Cisco Client or NAC, SilverPeak, IPSec, TCP/IP, DNS, VoIP, EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, IEEE802.1QTrunking, QoS, CoS, SIP
Education Required
- BA or BS degree or equivalent professional experience
