Sr. Ruby on Rails Team Lead
Salt Lake City, UT
6 Month Contract-to-Hire
Contract Rate: $60.00 - $80.00 per hour
Salary Target: $130K - $150K
 
Job Description:
Out client is greatly expanding their Ruby on Rails Development staff. In addition to several developers, our client is seeking a Team Lead that is experience with Ruby on Rails Development for Web Applications and leading/mentoring other developers along the way while doing hands-on development. Experience within the health services or healthcare space is a bonus, but being a highly responsible and committed individual is most important.
 
Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of recent Ruby on Rails Development experience
  • 3+ years of Team Leadership or Management experience
  • Preference for doing hands-on coding while leading is a must
  • JavaScript – Full Stack Development experience
  • Proven track record application frameworks such as Rails
  • Experience in test first development
  • Experience in web front-end development is a plus (Angular, React, Ember, Vue.js)
  • Proven track record utilizing JavaScript Frameworks
  • Object Oriented Design Principles
  • Test driven development required
  • Experience with Continuous Integration tools 

Bonus/Soft Skills: 

  • DevOps experience
  • Any experience coding for a HIPPA or PCI compliant software product
  • Redis, WebSocket
  • HTML, CSS
  • Passion for working in a highly collaborative development environment
