Sr. Software Engineer
Hawthorne, CA
4 Month Contract to Hire
Up to $71.25 an hour

Successful candidate will bring fresh ideas on information retrieval, distributed computing, large-scale system design, embedded systems and networking. This position is focused on the role of software engineering in the design and development of embedded systems. Successful candidate will perform design\code\testing of software that controls these components as well as provide software to automate the testing of these components.


Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in the field of Software Development
  • MUST HAVE STRONG LINUX Experience.
  • Experience with embedded software coding and algorithm development
  • Should have strong knowledge of Python or embedded C.
  • Experience in C, C++, Bash, Linux
  • Experience with GPIO, SPI and Serial Communication on ARM processors
  • Experience with GIT or similar version control system
  • Familiarity with FPGA design and integration is a plus
  • Previous Agile development experience is a plus.
  • MS or BS in Computer Science or related engineering field
