Sr. Technical Project Manager
Salt Lake City, UT
3-6 Month Contract-to-Hire
Contract Rate: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
Target Salary Upon Conversion: $100K - $120K

Job Description:
Our client is looking for a strong project manager for a specific widget track & trace project. The project manager will work with a large stakeholder group (Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales & Operations) to:

  • Establish a project charter, scope of work (cost, time, resources) for capex submission that will be required for the business to move from tracking inventory at a box level to an environment where we have individual unit level inventory management, which is scalable to point of end use.
  • Estimated duration to get to capex is ~4 months.  Subject to capex approval we would then require PM support to execute the project based on the duration of the project noted in the capex submission.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of Technical Project Management experience
  • Proven experience building out large scale project charters & scope of work
  • Experience leading in technical and/or operational personnel
  • Experience working with SAP systems
  • Experience with working closely with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales & Operations
  • Ability to travel (North America) – possible up to 25%

Bonus/Soft Skills:

  • Experience working with Widgets
  • Active Directory
  • Experience supporting Manufacturing and/or Supply Chain sectors
  • Six-Sigma and/or LEAN preferred
  • PMI/PMP certification preferable
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of information technology
