Sr. Windows Systems Engineer
Salt Lake City, UT
Direct Hire
Pay Range: $100K - $120K

Job Description:
Our client is looking for a Sr. Systems Engineer with extensive experience designing, managing, and supporting Microsoft products, including O/M 365, Active Directory, and both on-prem and cloud solutions. You will also be configuring, maintaining, and supporting these systems, including the hardware, operating system (usually Windows Server), and applications running on the platforms. Supporting these systems includes troubleshooting and resolving service issues to maintain our service level goals. Excellent troubleshooting skills will help the senior systems engineer to debug and perform root-cause analysis of service interruptions including the creation of preventive measures.

Required Skills:
  • 5+ years of extensive Windows Systems Engineering experience
  • Hands-on recent experience managing Microsoft enterprise products, including O365, Active Directory, Exchange, and other E5 offerings, both on prem and in the cloud
  • Enterprise experience with systems planning, security principles, and general software management best practices
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
Bonus/Soft Skills:
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work well independently and in a collaborative environment
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong customer service orientation
  • Familiarity of emerging open architecture technologies
  • Understanding of TCP/IP and basic networking concepts and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with VMware ESX and running Windows products virtually
  • Bachelor's degree in information systems or related field
