Technical Operations Lead
Contract to Hire
Location could either work out of Fort Worth, TX ~ or Eden Prairie, Minn
Pay Target $40 - $55 / hour while on contract
$90k - $110k once direct hire

Job Summary:
This role is for someone with industry experience to come in and lead a couple teams to evaluate, update, and standardize the operations in their production industry. Through the acquisition and merger processes over the years, some production facilities are running older equipment, older processes, and outdated solutions. This person would be instrumental to bring both facilities up to current standards for the company, while also improving systems resiliency. Re-engineering some of their production processes. You will need the ability to manage multiple projects.

This is a new role for this company. Part is from growth & acquisition. The other part is for someone to take over an existing team that reports up to a director who already has too many teams and locations.

There are technical components to this position as well as leadership / managerial roles.

Required Experience:
  • 3+ years leadership or management of people within technical operations experience
  • 7+ years professional experience supporting print and mail operations
  • Experience working with networking and high-speed production environments
  • Some experience working within data security environments where they may have Hippa, PCI, or similar regulated environments
Background check and drug screen prior to start

  • Experience from an operations perspective improving production workflow and systems environments
  • Bachelors Degree in a technical field

This role will require approximately 20% travel in the US between two of their locations

Fairly quiet in the professional services side of the buildings
Will need to be flexible on your work hours, as you will have employees working in two different locations
