Job Description:
This job is to work hand-in-hand with the Infrastructure DevOps teams of a sizeable company in Utah.  The PMO has proved in many other software areas of the company of how effective having an experienced Project Manager streamlines their delivery processes.  Now the Infrastructure / DevOps team just got approved to have dedicated Project Manager for their team.
You will need to be very technical, and know Infrastructure inside and out.  Somewhere in your career in the past several years, you likely made a move to Project Management and still stayed knowledgeable of infrastructure technologies, and then gained experience working closely with or on Virtual Delivery / DevOps teams.   Helping create roadmaps for continuous delivery.   They use Azure, but someone who as either Azure or AWS knowledge and can help roadmap new solutions will work.  Be able to discuss Site Reliability, platform/infrastructure systems, and virtual deployment cloud environments.
Also be an advocate for the company working with 3rd party infrastructure vendors / suppliers.
Required Skills:
  • 7+ years Software Technical Project Management experience
    • Experience creating project plans, managing resources, timelines
    • Experience collaboration with customers about realistic project deliverables, timelines, features, upgrades, change requests
  • 3+ years working with Infrastructure teams, infrastructure projects, or was a Networking/Infrastructure professional yourself.
  • Experience working with technical infrastructure teams, and familiar with their coding
  • Experience working with on-premises data centers
  • Experience working with Cloud Migrations
  • Agile Delivery experience
Desired Experience:
Bachelors Degree
Any Call Center operations experience
