Tier 2 Software Support Specialist
Salt Lake City, UT
6 month contract to hire
Pay Range: $25.00 - $30.00per hr / Salary Target: $50K - $60K


Our client builds software for the Healthcare Services industry. With that, they have as sizeable Software Support Team and are in need of several new members. This person will take escalated calls (Tier 1) from end clients that are using the software, recognize and resolve issues OR escalate to Tier 3. This person will need to have extensive software support experience (preferably from the healthcare space).

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years in a Software Support role
  • Experience with taking phone or email inquiries, troubleshooting and managing escalated technical problems with the client
  • Experience with support escalation process
  • Ability to learn fast and maintain a strong technical understanding of software products
  • Ability to write SQL Scripts, pull Queries
  • Familiarity with Stored Procedures
  • Familiarity with Data Migration, XMLS, or CSV's?

Bonus/Soft Skills

  • Healthcare SAAS knowledge and/or experience in supporting
  • Associates Degree or more education in the technical space
  • Any profession certifications with Microsoft competencies including Microsoft SQL Server, Support Center Analyst or Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) designation
