Tier 3 Software Support Specialist
Salt Lake City, UT
6 month contract to hire
Pay Range: $30.00 - $40.00per hr / Salary Target: $60K - $75K


Our client builds software for the Healthcare Services industry. With that, they have as sizeable Software Support Team and are in need of several new members. This person will take escalated calls (Tier 2) from end clients that are using the software, recognize and resolve issues OR escalate to Tier 4 or the Engineering Team. This person will need to have extensive software support experience from the healthcare space (preferably the Healthcare SAAS space).

Required Skills:

  • 4+ years in a Software Support role supporting Healthcare Software or Healthcare Services SAAS
  • Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server
  • Experience working closely with DBA's
  • Technical…running scripts, data migrations, CSV, SML, Stored procedure, queries, Microsoft reporting
  • Experience working closely with engineering teams to translate technical problems toward the needed solution
  • Experience with taking phone or email inquiries, troubleshooting and managing escalated technical problems with the client
  • Experience working closely with Tier 1 and Tier 2
  • Ability to learn fast and maintain a strong technical understanding of highly complicated software products

Bonus/Soft Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Professional Certifications such as Microsoft SQL Server, Support Center Analyst or Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MSCE) designation.
