Title: Trainer (Sr. Tech Support)
Location: New York, NY
Rate: DOE (Depends on Experience)
Duration: 4 Months +
 
Background:

Client recently rolled out a bunch of new technologies.  They have 1 trainer in place and are getting great feedback on this resource so are looking to add one more—maybe more

  • Content for training is already developed—just looking for a technical person who can facilitate it
  • Trainer will be supporting in 4 ways—onboarding, remedial, floor, genius bar, support for new tools

    • Onboarding:

      • Content is already in place, they just need to train people on the new tool as it is rolled out to current employees

    • Remedial:

      • This is more question and answer kind of stuff

    • Genius Bar:

      • Employees will be able to approach trainers as they have questions

    • Floor Walking:

      • Trainers will be in the pit walking around to provide support as needed

    • Support Deployment for New Tools:

      • As these and other tools are rolled out they will support


  • New Tools are:

    • Egnyte—for file sharing
    • Jabber—phone
    • Web/Ex (current), Zoom (future)—video conferencing


 
Must Have:

  • Sr. Helpdesk Support experience
  • Ideally have experience with the software's they are using (Ignite, Jabber, Webex, Zoom)—but will take someone with experience in supporting similar tech's—examples below

    • Egnyte—for file sharing

      • FileCloud, Tresorit, Dropbox, Box, OneDrive, Google Drive, SugarSync, SpiderOak, Wuala

    • Jabber—phone

      • ezTalks Meetings, Zoom, Slack, Google Hangouts, IBM Sametime

    • Web/Ex, Zoom—video conferencing

      • GoToMeeting, Blue Jeans, Skype for Business, ezTalks,TrueConf, AnyMeeting, join.me, GoToWebinar, Speek, Adobe Connect


  • Personality needs to be strong—they will be approaching employees
