TITLE: Wellness Director
LOCATION: Jersey City NJ
DURATION: Direct Placement

The Wellness Director – Resilience will report directly to the Optum Onsite Senior Wellness Director – Case Management Services. The primary responsibility of this role is to represent Optum On-site at our client and work cross-functionally with the client's Wellness / Benefits leadership to lead strategic direction for Resilience services; develop and deliver Resilience programming; and provide individual and group Resilience coaching. The focus of the client's Resilience offerings is to enhance health, energy, readiness, flexibility, and capacity to adapt to change with confidence across the organization. Other duties include identifying and initiating additional business opportunities for both Optum and the client.
•Work cross functionally, liaising with Wellness / Benefits leadership to set strategic agenda for Resilience services with a particular focus on alignment of the global and regional objectives
•Utilize data analysis to identify opportunities for Resilience interventions
•Develop and deliver Resilience programming; consult with Regional offices on delivery approach
•Provide individual and group coaching to enhance engagement, productivity, and  performance
•Expand Resilience Communication strategy; embed Resilience messaging across broader Wellness programming and promote Resilience resources
•Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the firm to identify Resilience needs and enhance program credibility
•Collaborate with other Wellness teams to ensure integration across services
•Implement the measurement and evaluation of programming including participant satisfaction, program impact, program value (e.g. effort/cost vs. impact, ROI/VOI metrics) and program utilization
•Analyze and refine Mental Health Report to evaluate program success
•Deliver mindfulness programs and classes focusing on special populations such as maternity and working parents
•Other duties as assigned
•Bachelors degree in behavioral health or health promotion with coaching certificate or Master level degree with licensure in behavioral health discipline
•7+ years of work experience, preferably in behavior change, coaching, population health or wellness
•Must possess strategic thinking as well as the ability to plan and execute tactical strategies to implement Resilience programs
•Effective communication skill both verbally and in writing to conduct group presentations and individual trainings
•Strong interpersonal relationship management skill
•Background in analytics, program and project management
•Familiar with corporate worksite environment
•Experience, knowledge and interest in Benefits / Wellness-related field or organizational behavior
•Basic computer literacy a must; proficiency in MS Word, excel and PowerPoint
Strong leadership skills, ability to work with leadership at various levels of the firm and drive results. Ability to lead meetings, create communications, post upward to management and key stakeholders.
