Title:Client Onboarding Specialist (Derivatives)
Location: NYC
Direct PERM Hire with Client

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Financial client is looking for Client Onboarding Specialist (Derivatives) to join a fast paced environment. Person must be a multi-tasker with strong communication and analytical mindset. 

Responsibilities:
  • Manage end to end Onboarding coordination for both OTC Derivatives and Equities Derivatives business
  • Work closely with our Front Office for prioritization of new accounts between multiple Front Office teams
  • Facilitate the collection of relevant documentation in accordance with the fundamental account opening procedures
  • Clients trading swaps require regulatory documentation within our proprietary database in accordance with CFTC, EMIR and Canada for OTC products, FX, Rates, Credit and Equity
  • Ensure timely documentation completion process via Onboarding workflows tool for all departments
  • Build out desk procedures, checklists and procedure write ups
  • Liaise with external clients as well as internal groups such as Legal, Credit, Compliance, Risk, Regulatory and Operations
  • Assist in remediation work from prior system conversions into existing proprietary Client Onboarding tool - Account Maintenance Portal
  • Produce Metrics and support documentation
  • Assist in the implementation of our new vendor Onboarding workflow tool - Fenergo
  • Support Onboarding's Front Office Dashboard
  • Support Audit and Compliance inquiries
  • Various non-Onboarding functions

Skills and Competencies:
  • Team player, jumps in and helps out wherever needed
  • Independent, hardworking and eager to learn (can do attitude)
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills (polished communications)
  • Existing experience working with Front Office
  • Appropriate and confidential handling of client data
  • Minimum of 6 years' experience
