Perception Engineer
Cache Valley, UT
6 month contract to hire or Perm
45.00 to 76.00per hour
85k to 150k perm


Summary
Our Client is looking for Perception Engineers. They will be developing leading perception and obstacle detection systems for autonomous equipment in the mining industry. They will be developing embedded software communication protocols using UDP, CAN, Serial, Multithreading, and Real-Time Systems. And also develop software modules in C/C++ and Python.


Required Skills
  • Experience with C/C++ and Python
  • Embedded software Communication protocols using CAN, UDP
  • ROS/ROS2(Robot operating systems)
  • Agile background
  • Experience with processing exteroceptive sensor data. (Point Clouds, Imagery, Radar.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline

Nice to have
  • Masters or PHD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering
  • Understanding of Algorithms and Mathematics
  • Machine Learning
