Sr Data Engineer

Contract to Hire

Pay Target hourly $50 - $65

Salt Lake City, Utah

Job Summary:

Work with fellow data engineers to provide mentorship, leadership, and best practices. It's about a 250 high level technical people throughout the company. Work closely with all software development teams, database groups, maintenance and support groups. Create and organize data and software engineering standards to ensure the highest level of data quality and up-time. Architect and automate database continuous integration. Participate in code reviews with software engineers to improve qualify of code and speed/efficiency.

Required Skills:

  • 10+ years experience with Data Engineering in the Microsoft stack
    • .NET, Microservices, SQL
  • Expert level of TSQL experience, database design and data security security policies.
  • Advanced level of MS SQL Server, SQL Server integration services, SQL Server data tools
  • Expertise in PowerShell
  • Expertise in Performance Tuning
  • Expertise in SQL Common Language Runtime (SQLCLR)
  • Unit Testing T-SQL objects
  • ETL Experience
  • PCI, and familiar with SOX compliance
  • Bachelors Degree in technical area or equivalent education / experience


Work remote for now, then go back onsite at their Utah offices per CDC guidelines once employees start returning to work-spaces
