Position: Senior Technical Recruiter / Technical Recruiter

This position requires an extremely perceptive person, who is capable of relating to individuals at all levels. As unique situations present themselves, this person must be sensitive to corporate needs, employee goodwill, and the public image of ConsultNet.


Recruits, researches, interviews, screens, and places candidates on customers' assignments. Refers job candidates for job openings by performing the duties below.


  • Develops and maintains network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates.
  • Reviews resumes and interviews applicants to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements, and to provide information about the organization and position.
  • Screens and refers candidates for additional interviews with others in organization.
  • Maintain a network of viable candidates by managing priorities effectively.
  • Develops relationships to obtain leads and referrals. Asks for referrals and leads on every call. Uses network to find highly skilled people.
  • Develops and maintains contacts with schools, alumni groups, user groups, and other public organizations to find and attract applicants.
  • Attends 2 industry user groups and events each month to recruit new candidates and develop market knowledge.
  • Coordinates reference and background checks on applicants.
  • Market available and working consultants to ConsultNet account executives
  • Utilizes Internet online recruiting sources to identify and recruit candidates.
  • Uses database exclusively to manage activity including call backs and call lists and to Document all information properly
  • Maintains integrity of the database
  • Conducts 8-10 interviews per week to build rapport and to obtain successfully critical information including, referrals and business leads. Asks questions to get the profile of the "right opportunity " and deciphers what is and is not a match.


  • 2-4 years related experience and/or training
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations
