Our client, one of the largest Amazon Web Services (AWS) partner for data services, is looking for a Business Systems Analyst to join their elite team of technologists to build and contribute to large-scale, innovative projects. Our client wants candidates who are eager to learn and grow with them as they work to move their market monitoring applications to modern big data platforms in the cloud where up to 60 billion market events are being processed each day.

Then we are looking for you. Our client wants to add a Business System Analyst (BSA) to our teams to help us decipher customer, business, and system requirements for our Data Intake Platform. They'd like a BSA who can document and recommend workflow processes and requirements between multiple systems. Our client wants a BSA who can understand the technical aspects of various systems but also be able to take a step back and understand the user or business problem they're trying to solve.
This role will report to the Data Intake Platform Director of Product Management and will be embedded day-to-day in a technical delivery team. The Data Intake Platform has the responsibility to provide various channels and methods of consuming Firm Member data so product, system, and features have complex requirements and needs.

Business System Analyst Job Responsibilities:

  • Evangelize the user and business needs to the delivery team(s) and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams to ensure level setting and expectations
  • Consolidate data and information from multiple sources, processes the data, make recommendations and presents to management.
  • Create and maintain documentation for processes, requirements, features, workflow, etc.
  • Identify issues in process, requirements, procedure, and recommend improvements and tool sets for resolution or enhancements.
  • Gather user and business complaints and prioritize them to identify methods of resolution.
  • Work with the team to debug production level issues and work with customers to improve their experience.
  • Identify and track trends in usage and process to report and present to team and management.
  • Multi-task across various initiatives.
  • Conduct training for business users and work with product to determine how best to educate external and internal users.

Professional Experience
  • At least 3 years' experience in software development preferably in an analysis role
  • Experience with online and SAAS applications
  • Experience in the regulatory compliance, legal or financial domains is a plus
