JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our Client is looking for a Desktop Support Technician (Level 1) where their main responsibilities will be to help provide exceptional customer service and troubleshooting services to all staff users.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage support requests via the tools provided.
• Provide desktop support services to the employees.
• Troubleshoot system performance issues, develop and implements technical solutions related to applications, hardware, software and other corporate systems
• Coordinate desktop operating system and application revisions/upgrades/implementations.
• Proactively administer the end-user technology environment using tools such as but limited to MS SMU and SMS, ePolicy, McAfee Enterprise, Ghost, Microsoft Office 365, etc.
• Provide light network administration support as needed.
• Manage special projects on an as needed basis.

QUALIFICATIONS
• 1-2 years of experience supporting a primarily Windows desktop environment
• Excellent hands-on technical and functional knowledge of the desktop as well as the back-end tools to properly provide administration such as Windows10, Office365, MS Office 2016 for Windows and MAC, latest MAC OS
• Prior experience with Active Directory and Exchange, Wireless, and Network Security
• Superb customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Strong project and time management skills are a must
• BS in Computer Science or related field of study or relevant experience providing IT support services to an organization
