Job Description

Title:  HRIS System Analyst
Location:  NYC
Direct Hire w/Client

Our Client is currently seeking a Systems Analyst to support them with their Workday Technology and strategies. This person will have strong knowledge of workday applications, continuously build departmental partnerships and advocating for the end user. The HRIS Analyst will also aid in the implementation, process improvement, enhancements, reporting and other tasks that leads to a more effective and efficient organization.


Collaborates with multiple units for enhancements and maintenance of HRIS Systems

Evaluates system capabilities and recommendations for its use to support the business efficiently

Serves as the technical point of contact for HRIS matters, issues, testing and builds

Participates in the support of HRIS Compensation and Talent Management functional areas, including merit and bonus annual roll-out

Acts as the SME in HRIS advanced reporting, develops management reports as requested

Assists employees with HR application portal navigation and training

Identifies and implements controls and validation measures to ensure data integrity


Minimum of 3 years of experience in HRIS or related discipline, preferably in a financial institution

One year of college or technical school and/or one to three years of related experience

Proficient in Data Analysis, System Analysis and Microsoft Office Applications (Access, Excel)

Knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM system functionality; knowledge of Workday is preferred

Knowledge of payroll and benefits is highly preferred; basic knowledge of HR policies and principles is desired

Team player with good communication skills (verbal and written)
