Job Description

Our client, one of the largest optical retailers in the U.S. eye care industry and currently the fastest growing full-service eye care company in the United States is looking for a Real Estate Administrator.

Term: Direct Hire

The Real Estate Administrator is responsible for preparing, examining, negotiating, and revising real estate leasing contracts. Handles day-to-day real estate leasing records and affairs.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensures contracts are consistent with management's goals, policies, and procedures.
  • Assures that all classifications and amendments of negotiations are incorporated into final contracts.
  • Reviews for accuracy on transactional agreements in connection with real estate management and leasing. Examples of documents would include; commercial retail leases; license agreements; estoppel certificates; SNDA's letters of intent; lease guarantees; lease commencement agreements; telecommunications agreements and other real estate transaction documents
  • Ensures all leasing contracts are property executed and distributed to all internal and external customers.
  • Updates and maintains control of Real Estate systems. Ensures all leasing contracts and other Real Estates documents are stored in an organized and secured manner.
  • Generates, maintains, and audits contract systems and ensures procedural control are in places and followed according to MyEyeDr policies and procedures.
  • Research and interpret lease language in consultation with Director of Real Estate, and provide information and guidance related to Real Estate and lease matters, as requested by facilities or principals of the company


  • Bachelor's degree in a Business field such as; Accounting, Finance, etc.

    • Concentrations in Real Estate HIGHLY preferred

  • 1-2 years experience working in the Commercial Real Estate Industry


  • Proven ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment and lead and drive complex initiatives
  • Skills in Word, Outlook, and advanced level proficiency in Excel, Power Point, Smart Sheet & MS Suite
  • Knowledge and experience with database entry, reporting, creation & management, i.e Boolean String searches
  • Strong Oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi task and prioritize assignments while delivering consistent, quality work product to property managers, brokers, attorney, and clients.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Demonstrate professional integrity
  • Proficient in time management
  • Proficient in calculating prorated rent
  • Exercise good judgement in handling sensitive information
  • Build strong internal and external relationships
  • Strong analytical skills.

Other Skills/Interests:

  • Degree in Commercial Real Esate
  • Involvement in Commercial Real Estate Organizations, i.e. ICSC
